Throughout my last semester of my degree, I had the opportunity to intern for the Associate Director of Staff and Student Communications at the University of Melbourne, this experience was invaluable and in the few months I spent there, I was able to learn so much about myself as a designer and the functions of a large organisation when it comes to branding and design. I learnt more about the limitations of design and how to adhere to strict constraints when creating content that still needs to be engaging but functional above all. I have included a few of the projects I worked on whilst I was there, my proudest was one of my final projects where I was able to create assets which were going live on the University's website as well as live on television screens in the building I was working in, I had actually created these in Canva as part of a research project I had completed in my time at the University. Overall, this was a rich experience, I met many amazing people including some very talented designers and had their support during my time there.
